Wisdom Beyond the Clapping: What Really Matters for an Article's Value

In this digital age, we are often swayed by numbers. Data such as the number of followers, likes, and click-through rates on social media seem to have become important indicators of value and success. However, should we allow these numbers to influence our perception and value judgment of things? Perhaps, as quoted, we should cultivate a way of wisdom that is not dictated by numbers.

Numbers may be superficially attractive, but they're not the only way to judge a thing. We need to think and observe more deeply, so as not to fall into the trap of numbers. Here are some ways to help us stay in control of our hearts and not be dictated by numbers.

First of all, we should cultivate critical thinking and questioning spirit. Numbers can be useful references, but they should not be our basis for blind obedience. When we see a number, we should ask ourselves: what is the truth behind this number? Does it fully reflect the facts? Do we need further information to make a more informed judgment? Such questioning thinking can help us not be confused by superficial figures and look at things more objectively.
